Tome was one of the first AI storytelling tools, and many people built pitch and strategy decks in it. Its presentation product was discontinued in 2025, and its founders now build Lightfield, an AI CRM. What happened to Tome

Tome's slides product stopped in 2025; reports at the time put the end of service on 30 April 2025, though we couldn't find an official notice that still exists. The tome.app site no longer serves the product. In November 2025 VentureBeat reported that Tome's founders had launched Lightfield, an AI-native CRM.

Closest to Tome's feel: Gamma

Tome made scrolling, web-style narratives that you shared as a link. Gamma's flexible cards work the same way, with a free plan and web publishing.

For decks that have to be PowerPoint: Arcdeck
