Arcdeck turns what you give it into presentations. This page explains what we collect to do that, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and name from Google when you sign in, or your email address if you use a sign-in link.
- What you make: the descriptions, files, links and notes you give Arcdeck, and the storylines and presentations it creates, including your edits.
- Your plan and usage: your plan, how many presentations and downloads you've used, and, if you subscribe, the customer and subscription references from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
- Sign-in and approximate location: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, when you last used the app, and the country, region and city our hosting provider estimates from your connection. We use location only in aggregate, to understand where Arcdeck is used.
How we use it
To provide the service you asked for: drafting and designing your presentations, keeping you signed in, applying your plan, taking payment, and answering you when you write to us. We also use it in aggregate to improve Arcdeck, for example which templates and presentation types are popular.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of providers, each only for the job described:
- Cloudflare hosts the app and stores accounts, presentations and uploaded files.
- AI model providers (Anthropic, and other model providers through OpenRouter, depending on the model chosen) receive the content of a request to write your storyline and slides.
- Web search and image providers receive search terms when you use web research (Premium) or real photos on slides, not your files.
- Google confirms your identity when you sign in with Google.
- Stripe processes payments for Premium.
Cookies
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Sharing your presentations
A presentation is private until you share it. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can view the slides (not your speaker notes). Turn the link off at any time and it stops working. Shared presentations are not listed in search engines.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and presentations until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Sign-in sessions end after 30 days. When a presentation fails to generate, it is deleted, and a short note about the failure is kept for 7 days.
Your choices
You can view, edit and delete your presentations in the app. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and everything in it deleted, write to hello@arcdeck.ai from the email address on your account and we'll do it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email when the change matters. Questions: hello@arcdeck.ai.
