Gamma alternative
A Gamma alternative for decks that end up in PowerPoint
Gamma is fast and good-looking, and for a lot of work it's the right tool. People look for an alternative when the deck has to leave Gamma: a client wants the .pptx, a board pack has to match the house template, or the argument matters more than the visuals. This page compares the two on the things that decide that choice, with Gamma's facts taken from its own pricing page and help center.
Facts checked on 11 October 2026 against each vendor's own pages. Sources are listed at the end.
The short answer
Choose Gamma if your audience reads your work as a link, you want web pages and documents as well as decks, or you need more than a dozen languages. Choose Arcdeck if the deliverable is an editable PowerPoint, you want the storyline drafted as action titles before any slide is designed, or you write proposals from RFPs.

The differences that matter
Cards versus slides
A Gamma card grows with its content like a web page, which is lovely on a phone and awkward when it has to become a fixed 16:9 PowerPoint slide. Gamma lets you fix the page size, and if PowerPoint is the end point you should. Arcdeck only makes 16:9 slides, so there's no conversion step.
The storyline comes first in Arcdeck
Both tools show you an outline before generating. Arcdeck's outline is the argument itself: every headline is an action title that states the slide's conclusion, arranged in a structure such as SCQA or an investor pitch. You fix the logic there, and the slides are written from it.
Charts that stay charts
Arcdeck's PowerPoint export draws charts and tables as native PowerPoint objects, so a colleague can right-click and edit the data next quarter. Gamma exports editable text and tables; test how your own charts arrive before you rely on them.
Gamma does more than decks
Documents, web pages and social posts come out of the same Gamma workspace, along with AI images and a big theme library. Arcdeck makes presentations only.
Proposals from an RFP
Arcdeck Premium includes Proposal Studio: it reads the RFP, plans the response and writes the proposal deck, optionally in your firm's own PowerPoint template. Gamma doesn't list an RFP-specific workflow.
Who should pick which

- You also make documents, one-page sites or social posts

Pick Arcdeck if

- You respond to RFPs or need decks in your company's own template
