Book reports

Book report presentations: summary, characters, themes and your view

Give Arcdeck the book, the author and what your teacher has asked for, and add your own notes and favourite quotes. It drafts the report as headlines, from what the book is about to its characters, themes and your opinion, then writes slides with notes so you talk about the book instead of reading the screen.

No card needed. 17 slide layouts, 48 templates, 12 languages.

Try it with an example

Pick one and Arcdeck starts drafting it, or write your own.

What you get

The parts a book report needs

Title and author, setting, a short summary, main characters, themes with examples and your recommendation, each as a headline you can change.

Your opinion at the centre

Say what you thought of the book and the closing slides are built around it; edit any slide to put it in your own words.

Notes to speak from

Slides keep a few words on screen, and the notes hold what to say about each part, so you can look at the class, not the slides.

Templates that suit reading

Notebook looks like a project book, Apricot suits younger readers, and Terracotta is free, with calm cream and clay for quotations.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Describe it or upload it

A sentence is enough. Or add PDF, Word or PowerPoint files, a link, or pasted notes.

  2. Step 2

    Shape the storyline

Arcdeck drafts the argument as headlines. Reorder, reword or cut them, then pick a template.

  3. Step 3

    Get the slides

Every slide is written and designed, with charts and speaker notes. Present, share a link, or export.

Does Warmth Make Yeast Work Faster?
Year 10 science fair project
March 2026

the big ideas
Three things my results show
07
They match what my textbook says about enzymes and temperature.
01
Yeast is a living thing, and its enzymes work faster as they warm up, so more carbon dioxide is made.
02
Above about 40°C the enzymes start to change shape and stop working, so the gas slows down.
03
At 60°C the yeast died within minutes, which is why bakers never use boiling water for dough.

a closer look
The balloon test, step by step
As the yeast feeds on sugar it gives off carbon dioxide. The gas fills the balloon, so a bigger balloon means faster work.
